It is designed to keep the room temperature constant and control the airflow at all times. The heavy-duty 5-step transformer makes the Hybrid Controller MK2 the most reliable and quietest controller on the market and ensures your fan does not hum or buzz. With the additional PRO software with light sensor, the Hybrid Controller MK2 also keeps the humidity in your room under control at night*. Fans with unequal capacityThe difference in fan capacity (e.g. 1000 m3 and 2000 m3) automatically creates the right negative pressure. Please note that the smaller fan is connected to the "FAN AIR IN" socket and the larger one to "FAN AIR OUT". You can of course connect just one fan, in which case you must connect it to "FAN AIR OUT". The Hybrid Controller MK2 controls the fans step by step and keeps seeking the set temperature. Instructions for use* Connect your fans correctly to the blue sockets (small fan = IN / large fan = OUT)* Use button 1 to set the desired MINIMUM fan level (e.g. step 1)* Use button 2 to set the desired temperature (e.g. 25 °C)* Use button 3 to set the desired MAXIMUM fan speed (e.g. step 5).* Place the temperature sensor in your room. Caution: not in the direct airflow or directly under a light source.* Place the light sensor in your room facing the light source, but don’t remove the cap yet!* Now connect the Hybrid Controller MK2 to the mains. * PRO function OFF (cover not removed):As long as the cover is not removed from the sensor, the PRO function is not activated; only use the PRO function when humidity control is crucial. * PRO function ON (cover removed):The PRO function ensures extra air exchange at night, even when the temperature does not require it. As soon as the light sensor detects that it is dark, the fans run one step faster than the controller’s current speed for 7 minutes every hour. This avoids the high humidity that occurs at night. Because the fan speed is only increased slightly, the temperature is only minimally affected, especially in the cold winter months. As soon as the light comes back on, the PRO function switches off – as the humidity problem mainly occurs at night – and returns to normal control. Caution! Once the PRO function has been activated, it can only be deactivated by resetting the SMSCOM Hybrid Controller MK2 (briefly unplug the mains plug and plug it back in).

DescriptionThe SMS/STC Smart Controller was developed to keep the temperature in your room constant while controlling the airflow. Once you have set the desired temperature, the Smart Controller automatically ensures the perfect climate. How does it work?The Smart Controller uses our Motion Flow software system and therefore reacts very differently from most other controllers. When you first install the Smart Controller, it takes 5 - 10 minutes to scan your room to determine the right fan speed. The controller then knows exactly how fast your fan needs to run to keep the temperature constant. From then on, the Smart Controller automatically adjusts the fan speed to maintain the set temperature. The Smart Controller has 60 different speeds, allowing seamless fan speed control and more precise temperature control than other controllers. This new technology not only guarantees extremely precise temperature control but also means less noise and a longer fan life. The Smart Controller is plug-and-play, so no wiring is needed. You just connect the fan, set the desired temperature and the minimum fan speed, and the Smart Controller does the rest. PLEASE WAIT! This can take 5 to 10 minutes! During the scan, the Smart Controller runs at 100% speed for a few seconds and then at the minimum speed. After 5 to 10 minutes, the controller selects the right speed and no longer needs to be adjusted manually. The Smart Controller automatically adjusts the speed when needed to maintain the temperature. #Without a temperature sensor, the Smart acts as a manual fan controller. ##Minimum fan speed: this is the lowest speed at which your fan runs. The lower you set the speed, the more you increase the range of your fan. We recommend setting the speed to the lowest level. This lets the fan run at all possible speeds, from slow to maximum, to keep the temperature constant. If necessary, you can adapt the minimum speed to the type of fan##. Caution!Do not place the temperature sensor in the direct airflow of the fan. DescriptionSMS COM SPC 8 and 16 amp climate controllerAfter unpacking, check the SPC for transport damage, voltage and frequency. Never install the SPC near water pipes, rain, drains, etc., and make sure the power is switched off. Keep the work area clean and dry! Installation of the SPC and the correction of defects must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with the applicable standards. Start-upSwitch in position "AUTO": the SPC works fully automatically. The fans are controlled according to the settings. After switching on the SPC, the connected fans always start at full voltage for a few seconds. Switch in position "0": in this position the SPC is switched off. Switch in position "100%": if the automatic control no longer works in the event of a fault,the connected fans must be switched to this position.They then run at full mains voltage. Instructions for use:* Set the minimum ventilation level (e.g. 20%).* Set the maximum ventilation level (e.g. 80%).* Set the ventilation bandwidth. The control range between minimum and maximum ventilation remains at least 10% regardless of the settings (e.g. 2 °C).* Set the desired temperature. If the indoor temperature rises above the set target temperature, the SPC selects the appropriate ventilation level according to the set bandwidth. However, it is possible to reset the minimum speed using the "cal. Min" potentiometer (to the left of the fuse holder). Left is minus and right is plus. Set it so that the extraction always keeps running at the minimum extraction setting. A LOWER SETTING INCREASES THE RISK OF HUMMING. If the SPC is switched off (0 position) and then on again, first set the switch to 100% and only then to the auto position. This is recommended to protect connected extractors.
