Rockwool plugs

Speedgrow® products are natural products made from basalt (volcanic igneous rock). The fibres are created by heating this rock – a speciality of the manufacturer! The so-called Ecose technology uses a formaldehyde-free binder. This sustainable technique is particularly environmentally friendly. This creates the desired structure and lets us supply a product with healthy fibres. The big advantage is that the roots meet no resistance to growth and are therefore more resistant to diseases and pests. The plants also make better use of the available volume. Organic binder Better root penetration Durable Better growth performance Better for the environment No skin irritation Using Speedgrow®  It is enough to moisten the material briefly under the tap. Because of Ecose, Speedgrow® products already have a slightly higher EC content, so no extra nutrients are needed in the first week. All our plugs are ideal for germinating your seeds.
