The ultra-quiet SMSCom Hybrid Controller MK2 uses software-controlled technology combined with a mechanical 5-step system to control the speed of the fans. It is designed to keep the room temperature constant and control the airflow at all times. The heavy-duty 5-step transformer makes the Hybrid Controller MK2 the most reliable and quietest controller on the market and ensures your fan does not hum or buzz. With the additional PRO software with light sensor, the Hybrid Controller MK2 also keeps the humidity in your room under control at night*.

Fans with unequal capacity
The difference in fan capacity (e.g. 1000 m3 and 2000 m3) automatically creates the right negative pressure. Please note that the smaller fan is connected to the "FAN AIR IN" socket and the larger one to "FAN AIR OUT". You can of course connect just one fan, in which case you must connect it to "FAN AIR OUT". The Hybrid Controller MK2 controls the fans step by step and keeps seeking the set temperature.

Instructions for use
* Connect your fans correctly to the blue sockets (small fan = IN / large fan = OUT)
* Use button 1 to set the desired MINIMUM fan level (e.g. step 1)
* Use button 2 to set the desired temperature (e.g. 25 °C)
* Use button 3 to set the desired MAXIMUM fan speed (e.g. step 5).
* Place the temperature sensor in your room. Caution: not in the direct airflow or directly under a light source.
* Place the light sensor in your room facing the light source, but don’t remove the cap yet!
* Now connect the Hybrid Controller MK2 to the mains.

* PRO function OFF (cover not removed):
As long as the cover is not removed from the sensor, the PRO function is not activated; only use the PRO function when humidity control is crucial.

* PRO function ON (cover removed):
The PRO function ensures extra air exchange at night, even when the temperature does not require it. As soon as the light sensor detects that it is dark, the fans run one step faster than the controller’s current speed for 7 minutes every hour. This avoids the high humidity that occurs at night. Because the fan speed is only increased slightly, the temperature is only minimally affected, especially in the cold winter months. As soon as the light comes back on, the PRO function switches off – as the humidity problem mainly occurs at night – and returns to normal control.

Caution! Once the PRO function has been activated, it can only be deactivated by resetting the SMSCOM Hybrid Controller MK2 (briefly unplug the mains plug and plug it back in).
