What is P20?
P 20 plays an important role in the formation of energy carriers and DNA. It is essential for sugar metabolism and the formation of cell membranes. Plants directly absorb all food-grade minerals, allowing optimal control over the plants. P 20 can be used for phosphorus deficiency. A phosphorus deficiency shows itself in slow growth and a purple discolouration of the veins on the underside of the leaves and purple stems, caused by an accumulation of anthocyanins. An excess of phosphorus leads to a poorly growing plant with an induced zinc deficiency. Before P 20, it was a problem to add phosphorus to plants in any form that was absorbed completely and very quickly without harmful side effects. P 20 is absorbed quickly and has no side effects. P 20 is free of chlorides or other excess ingredients.
When should P 20 be used?
P 20 should be applied for deficiency symptoms or to promote the start of flowering
P 20 can be mixed with all Bionova nutrients, stimulators, minerals, universal products & substrates.
P 20 can be used for watering and as a foliar spray.
How do you use P20?
Application via watering
For severe phosphorus deficiency, max. 5-10 ml per 10 litres of water. To stimulate root development and/or flowering, add 1-5 ml per 10 litres of water. A dosage of 1:1000 increases the total amount of P by 3.5 mmol.
Application as a foliar spray
2.5-5 ml per litre
Food-grade mineral nutrient with 20% phosphorus. Plants have a high need for phosphorus in the first weeks of flowering; this gives a head start in the development of fruit and flowers.
