Product information "K 20"
K 20
Remedy for potassium deficiency!
Why
Food-grade mineral nutrient with 20% potassium!
Makes the cells and the related water balance more robust and promotes flowering!
Potassium is important for opening and closing the stomata!
Higher-quality fruit and flowers, improved firmness and dry weight content!
What is K20?
As well as the basic elements nitrogen and phosphorus, K 20 (potassium) is also crucial for every grow. Potassium makes the cells more robust (water balance) and stimulates flowering. Potassium also plays an important role in cell formation, osmoregulation and carbohydrate balance. Potassium is also important for opening and closing the stomata, which allow excess heat to be released. A potassium deficiency shows when the plant does not open its stomata enough for evaporation to cool down. This leads to chlorosis at the edges of the leaves, which later develops into necrosis (dying off). With an excess of potassium, the plant’s development is inhibited and it then darkens. An excess also hinders the uptake of other cations such as calcium and magnesium, due to antagonistic effects.
When do you use K20?
K 20 should be used for deficiency symptoms and/or for ripening and increasing firmness
K 20 can be mixed with all Bionova nutrients, stimulators, minerals, universal products & substrates.
K 20 can be used for watering.
How do you use K20?
Application via watering
As a supplement during flowering, add 1-10 ml per 10 litres of nutrient solution.
A dosage of 1:1000 increases the total amount of potassium by 5 mmol.
Food-grade mineral nutrient with 20% potassium. Plants have a high need for potassium during the ripening phase. It plays an important role in regulating osmosis, opening and closing the stomata, protein synthesis and enzyme function. This leads to higher-quality fruit/flowers, improved firmness and improved dry weight content.
