COCO A+B from Canna
After years of research into soil, drainage and leaf samples, CANNA was the first manufacturer to develop a nutrient that takes the special properties of coco substrate into account. As well as high-quality minerals, CANNA Coco A & B nutrients contain natural chelates and humic and fulvic acids that ensure an optimal nutrient supply for the plant. Perfect for growing in coco.
Growers all over the world have been enthusiastic for years about the explosive growth and abundant flowering on CANNA Coco substrate. Because of the unique buffering effect of coco substrate, CANNA Coco A & B nutrients are used in both the growth and the flowering phase.
- Shake the bottle well before use
- Fill the nutrient tank with water.
- Add Coco to the nutrient tank in a ratio of 1:250 (400 ml A and 400 ml B per 100 litres of water).
- Add Coco A to the nutrient tank. Stir well and then add Coco B. Then stir well again and leave the mixture to stand for a few hours.
- The EC of Coco dissolved in (tap) water varies between 1.2 - 2.3 mS (= EC of the solution and EC of the water)
- Recommended pH value: 5.5 - 6.2
- In intensive growing, give the plants this nutrient 1-3 times a day and make sure the run-off is between 10% and 20%. This usually means 3-6 litres of nutrient solution per m² per day.
Further instructions
- Unlike other (Canna) nutrients, CANNA Coco nutrient can be used in both the growth and the flowering phase.
- NEVER mix the A and B components together undiluted. This creates insoluble compounds that the plant cannot absorb.
- Store protected from frost in a dark, safe place (UV light breaks down the iron chelates in the nutrient solution).
- Keep out of the reach of children
