BLUELAB EC PEN
With the compact Bluelab EC Pen you can accurately measure the conductivity (EC or ppm) and temperature of a nutrient solution. This tells you exactly whether adjustments are needed and which ones.
Good nutrition starts with high-quality nutrients. Measuring conductivity daily is the best way to prevent dilution or over-concentration of your nutrient solution.
As well as the EC value, the Bluelab EC Pen also measures the temperature of the solution. Temperature is important for a plant’s growth rate and structure. In most cases, a solution temperature of 18-22 ˚C or 65-72 ˚F is ideal.
Simply place the EC probe in the solution and the selected value is shown on the screen. Does the probe need replacing? Then you can also order it separately.
