Athena Balance 3.78 L is a concentrated pH buffer for professional use. It was developed to stabilise irrigation water and set it to an ideal pH. This larger pack is particularly suitable for intensive growing systems and for working with larger volumes of water, especially when using reverse osmosis water.

A stable basis for homogeneous nutrient solutions

Reverse osmosis water has an unstable chemical structure. If nutrients are added without buffering first, they can become bound and are less available to the plant. Athena Balance buffers the irrigation water in advance and ensures an even, homogeneous nutrient solution with optimal nutrient availability.

Better results when using RO water

Professional growers achieve considerably more consistent results when the irrigation water is first treated with Athena Balance. Stabilising the water significantly reduces the need for pH corrections afterwards, leading to more stable conditions and a reliable feeding schedule.

A clean, sediment-free formula

Athena Balance is completely free of sediment and leaves no residue in lines or irrigation systems. The product is compatible with mechanical dosing systems such as Dosatron. Athena Balance is not suitable for electronic dosing systems such as Netafim.

Use and notes

Athena Balance is always added to the irrigation water before all other nutrients and additives to create a stable base. Other nutrients can then be mixed in as usual.
